TFF’s Management Team, working together with The National Executive Committee and staff, aims to deliver an effective and professional organisation for the greater good of Tanzanian football.

General Secretary / CEO

Kidao Wilfred  was named as The FA’s Chief Executive Officer on 23 August 2017.

 

Cornel Barnabas

Director of Finance and Administration

He is a Director of Finance and Administration (DF). He is the Administrator, Head of Finance Department and the overall supervisor of financial activities.

Professionally, he has an MBA in Finance and Banking from Mzumbe University, CPA (T) National Board of Accounting and Auditors, Registered ACPA 1309. He has also a Diploma in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs).

Before joining to work with TFF, he worked at Dar es Salaam City Council as Project Manager of the World Bank Funded Project whereby he successfully supervised the project. Then, he was transferred to the Ministry of Finance in 2015 where he dealt with Government Finance Management.

In 2016 he was transferred to Teachers Service Commission as Chief Accountant. Eventually, in 2018 he moved to TFF wherein he is currently serving as the Director of Finance and Administration.

Generally, he has more than 30 years of working experience in Accounting and Finance Management.

 

Boniface Wambura

Director of Legal, Media and Marketing

He joined TFF in January, 2011. Before his current role, Mr. Wambura held different positions such as Media and Communications Officer, TMS Manager, Club Licensing Manager, Competitions Director and Premier League CEO.

He worked with Business Times Limited, publishers of the daily Majira Newspaper as News Editor and Sports Editor. He is also the Founding Editor of Jambo Leo Newspaper.

Mr. Wambura holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College, and alumnus of the Tanzania School of Journalism, now School of Journalism and Mass Communications (SJMC) of the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a Certified Director by the Institute of Directors Tanzania (IoDT).

He has also attended several football courses, seminars and workshops; CAF Intermediate Level Administration, FIFA-TMS Transfer Matching System, CAF Media Officer’s seminar, FIFA Event Management, Football Coaching, CECAFA/FIFA Communications, FIFA Women’s Football Com-Unity, International Olympic Committee (IOC) Sports Journalism, and FIFA Club Licensing.

Mr. Wambura also served as President of the Tanzania Sports Writers Association (TASWA) for 9 years, Member of CAF Media Team- African Women Championship Finals in Equatorial Guinea, Member of CECAFA Media Committee, and Member of the Jury- FIFA Ballon d’Or for 9 years.

 

 

Salum Madadi

Competitions Director

Professionally, he has a Superior Diploma from the International Sports Academy of Germany (1990-1991).  He possesses a License HANEF from Germany which he obtained in 2006. Mr. Madadi attended several CAF and FIFA instructors’ courses and trainings. He is also a CAF Technical Instructor who attended many courses in different years and various parts of Africa and worldwide at large. The said courses based on football development such as football pitches’ infrastructure held in Kenya (2012) and Malawi (2018).

Mr. Madadi has a good command in English and Kiswahili with an ability to communicate through Arabic language as well.

Before his current post, he served in various posts and levels as a Technical Director (2013-2017), Development Officer (2005-2013), and Technical Officer (2003-2005). He once been a Member of TFF General Assembly from 2005-2006 by then the regulations were allowing multi-posts. He had have served also as a Treasurer of Tanzania Football Coaching Association (1998-2005).

Indeed, he is a former football player; he played up to the First Division League level. He had served also as coach for a couple of years; from 2000-2002 a National Team (Taifa Stars) Head Coach, from 1998-2000 an Assistant Coach of Taifa Stars. He was a former Simba SC Head Coach where he served from 1991-1992. He served the same again in 1996, 1997-1998. He once became a Head Coach of Kariakoo Lindi from 1999-2000s. Mr. Madadi had ever worked as a Head Coach of Shangani of Zanzibar from 1993-1994 before joining with Malindi Sports Club in 1994-1995.

However, before joining to work with TFF, Mr. Madadi had worked as a government employee whereby he held a post of Water Technician/Surveyor (from 1976-1985); the position of which he showed good performance during his entire serving period of time.

 

 

Oscar Mirambo

Technical Director

He pursued Master Degree of Science in Statistics (MSc) and a Bachelor Degree of Science with Education (BSc. Ed) at the University of Dar es Salaam. Mr Mirambo has also a Diploma in Education from Morogoro Teacher’s College. He has coaching skills in all levels, coordinating and conducting Educational Football and Administrative Courses. He has a good package of Commutation and Presentation skills being in line with strong Interpersonal, Languages skills. He has an ability to communicate efficiently as well as concisely in both oral and written.

In addition to that, he is computer abreast with well proven ability to develop and improve football players at national and international standards with proven capacity in scouting and nurturing football talents Judgment/Decision making, verified ability to analyze matters providing strategic guidance and ensure an effective working structure to achieve goals, he is also good in sports management and administration.

Professionally, he has successfully attended different coaching courses and trainings. Some of such courses attended and being awarded certificates include: CAF Technical Directors Workshop and UEFA Instructors course Certificate of attendance, (Rabat-Morocco-Feb, 2020), in the year of 2019; FIFA Technical Directors certificate of attendance in Kigali- Rwanda, Football Local Instructors certificate at Azam Complex- Dar es Salaam, Mentorship Certificate and Certificate in Football Coaching in ITK Leipzig-University, Southampton way Induction Course at National Stadium Tanzania  and UEFA Instructors course by IFA held at TFF Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to name a few.

Before joining with TFF, Mr Mirambo worked as Coach with Ndanda FC in 2017 meanwhile coaching Youth National Teams (U-15, U-17, U-20 and U-23). He had once been a Coach of Stand United, a Premier League side (2016) before serving that title he was a former Dar es Salaam Zone Coach (UMISSETA) 2014-2015 and football player. He once became an assistant Taifa Stars Coach (2017). He has different capacities in football arena; generally, he has more than 10 years dealing with football activities serving varieties of posts.

However, Mr. Mirambo is a self motivated with high initiative and focus. He has adequate skills in communication issues with a dozen of persuasive and resourceful with confidence. Mr Mirambo has in-depth knowledge basing on social matters and a multi-talented with captivating performance; a self-driven individual who get pleasure from challenges. He is a responsible with leadership characters.

 

 

Hassan Njama

Internal Auditor and Compliance

He is the one who conducting Risk Based Internal audits in conformity with International Professional Practice Framework (IPPF –Internal Auditing Standards).   

He is a holder of Accountancy and Auditing Professional qualifications – CPA (T), Advanced Diploma in Certified Accountancy (ADCA); attendance Certificates in technical audit, environment audit, procurement management, information technology audit, payroll audit, planning and budgeting, IFRS and IPSAS standards.

Mr Njama is a long serving Internal Auditor (CPA) with vast experience in the field of auditing having undergone several capacity building workshops and trainings organized by Government Institutions, Professional Bodies and Non-Government Organizations. The objective of the trainings was to improve skills and knowledge required for conducting the risk-based internal auditing activities.

Before joining the Tanzania soccer governing body, he worked as Head of Internal Audit Unit at Tanga City Council, reporting administratively to the City Director and functionally to the Audit Committee.

 

 

Mohamed Mkangara

Head of General Secretary Office

He joined with TFF earlier 2019; he is currently the Head of General Secretary Office. Mr Mkangara is administratively reporting directly to the General Secretary Office.

Academically he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, Certificate of Sports Journalism and Certificate of Radio and TV broadcasting as well as Speech Writing and Presentation.

Far back, before joined to work with TFF he served in various capacitated works. He served in leadership positions like being a member of Media and Marketing Committee at Tanzania Sports Writers Association (TASWA); from 2014-2017, a Team Leader at Tigo -Call Center from 2010-2014; he was an Assistant Treasurer at TASWA from 2009-2011 and Acting Supervisor at Tigo Call Center (Back Office) from November 2011- December 2012.  

Apart from the mentioned qualities, Mr Mkangara has 10 years experiences in customer service and mobile money operator at Tigo- Mobile Company; at Tigo Company he was among the active workers with constructive ideas and advice for the prosperity of mobile services. However, from 2016-2018, he was Football Manager and Speech Writer, in 2014-2017 Sports Analyst and Sports Editor aligning with journalism working experiences from 2004-2008.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
